Built from the Venetians in the hill of Saint Georgio, Ano Syra a medieval settlement built on rocks, maintains a medieval enchanting atmosphere.

 

In this town they do not  circulate vehicles, because the streets have a very small width. The distance from the harbour up to the central entry of the city is 3500 metres.
